Today ultrasound wasn't that tiring for me because it only lasted for half an hour compared to the one done at 18 weeks which took about an hour. One reason is that the babies are getting bigger and are more difficult to get them into good position to take a nice picture. For the 3D scan, both of them were somehow covering their faces....not sure if they are sleeping (babies like to do that if you notice when they sleep) or they are just shy! Both of them are doing great so far, growing well with Twin A weigh about 2lbs while Twin B with a slightly bigger belly weigh about 2lbs 2oz. So, in comparison both are about the same size eventhough Twin B is slightly heavier. On average, my babies are slightly smaller than other babies at this point. The sonographer reassure me that things are fine and because mommy and daddy weren't that big, it is absolutely normal to have smaller babies. Moreover, twins tend to be smaller in general. Both their heart rates are also doing fine with Twin A 141bpm and Twin B 137bpm. Oh yes, it is confirmed that both are GIRLS!!!.....only managed to see Twin B's too-too in the beginning coz she is already head down while Twin A still breach at this time....but somehow, we managed to have a glance of her too-too as well. Hopefully, Twin A will change position soon so that mommy don't have to go for C-section delivery!!!!!

How is mommy doing?
Well, mommy only gained 3.5lbs since 3 weeks ago. A little disappointed with myself coz I'm supposed to gain at least 2 lbs per week. Other than that, have been having lots of Braxton Hicks contractions and twinges this week but Dr. Lucas said that it is very normal and feel even more with twin pregnancy. As long as they is no pain during the contractions, then I should be fine. However, I will need to reduce my level of activities, i.e., just walk around the house and other than that, I should keep my feet off the ground as much as possible. Cervix length is 4.4cm and was told that it is very good. Found a study from the website titled "The length of the cervix and the risk of spontaneous premature delivery" and it stated that the length of the cervix can be used to predict premature delivery. Shorter cervix predicting a higher risk. http://www.cedip.cl/Educacion/Cervix_Iams96.pdf
My following visits will be every two weeks now. Will be going in on March 19 for the O'Sullivan Glucose test.
