Created a baby registry with Babies RUs last week as some of my friends started asking me about it. In US, it is very common for pregnant mommies to have a baby registry so that friends and family will be able to purchase baby items based on what the mommy actually needed. Unlike back home, mommies will receive lots of duplicated items and in the end, some may not be useful. Usually, there will be a baby shower before the birth of the baby and it is normally given by close friends and relatives. Well, WT and I felt that it is an "ang moh" thing and we're leaning towards having a "full moon celebration" instead after the birth of our babies. Moreover, based on the chinese tradition, it is not good to have any celebration for an unborn baby.
