My exercise routines

Exercise during pregnancy is a must. It appears that women who don't get any exercise during pregnancy become progressively less fit as the months pass by. Eventhough I exercise a lot pre-pregnancy, exercising now is like climbing Mount Everest. I started with brisk walking around my apartment but when the weather turned cold, I moved to walking on a treadmill. At least 30 minutes every day or when my body is telling me that I'm fit to do it on that day. If I felt unwell, I won't take any chances.....getting more rest is more important at this point. Two weeks ago, I started working out on a stepping machine at a comfortable tension.

Today, I did my first prenantal yoga....very tiring eventhough the posses are all modified from the regular yoga that I used to attend. Again, I listened to my own body. I took a rest in between just to make sure that I'm not working too hard and hurting my babies. Most of all, everything in moderation.

Kegels exercise is also very good in preparation for childbirth. To do that, I firmly tense the muscles around my vagina and anus. Hold for as long as I can and then slowly release the muscles and relax. The good thing about this exercise is that I can do it in a standing or sitting position!!!So, even in a public, no one will notice!!!
