I'm stumped on how to get myself more zzz's? Not because I wasn't tired. Thanks to my new pregnant sleeping position. I've started training myself to sleep on my left side since 4 weeks ago as sleeping on the belly and on the back are not the best choices during pregnancy. Sleeping on the left side allows maximum flow of blood and nutrients to the placenta and enhance efficient kidney function. It also helps to lessen swelling of ankles, feet and hands.
It is difficult coz the pain on my hip and thigh result from not moving for so many hours is killing me. Just a week ago, I started to have pelvic pain. I also realized that I'm not the only one that is not sleeping well, WT too as some days when I start moving, he will be awake to check on me.
And the hillarious part is that few weeks back, I kept having bad dreams. One of them was that WT had a mistress out there after he found out that I'm pregnant. Every night, he doesn't comes home. It seems so real to me and I woke up in the middle of the night holding him. The next morning, I told him about it....and he jokingly said that "yah....I have been spending so much time with models"I was ??? but then he said it was a bankers' joke, it means spending time with financial models! Since then, I've been receiving lots of hugs and kisses from him and those dreams vanished! So, my theory is that, at least to me...you tend to feel more attach and dependent on your hubby during pregnancy than before.
