We were at Cranial Tech this afternoon for Charissa's regular bi-weekly check-up. A photo session was arranged so that they could see her progress since we brought her in for her consultation on Jan 28. All pics on the left were taken on Jan 28 and all pics on the right were taken today (4.14.08). Charissa started wearing her band only on Feb 11 and till today, she only wore for 9 weeks but her progress was so good, eventhough still not perfect. The band she is wearing now can only last for another 2 weeks and we've decided to graduate her from the band (not going for second band). I will let her do another casting (exit mold) just in case that we need it for her medical record eventhough there are pics and measurements.
Below is a report written by the clinical technician after the visit:-Charissa has been in DOC band treatment for 2 months. She will wear this band for another 2 weeks. She has made nice changes however given the significance of her headshape at the start of treatment, she would benefit from a second band. We will need a script.
Based on the pics, Charissa's headshape is definitely rounder (especially when you look at the 4th set of pics, her right side).
