False labor symptom

Last night was a bit scary coz I was having about 12 contractions in an hour. It was about 5-8 minutes apart. Around 11:15pm, WT told me to call Eastover. A nurse called me back to check on my condition and after telling her everything, i.e., frequency, backache, pain and etc, she called the doc on call to see if I need to go to the hospital immediately. She called back and she said that the doc wants me to monitor my condition for another hour and if my contractions are regular 5 minutes apart, then I should call back and go to the hospital. However, my condition was still the same and around 12 something, I was so tired and I decided to sleep. I woke up a few times having stomachache but not actually labor pain. Well, will see how things go and I will be going in for my non-stress test, ultrasound and doc consultation tomorrow morning. I'm sure that the doc will check my cervix to see if it has dilated.
