Believe it or not, Becky, a registered dietician told me to eat 1 cup of ice-cream every night to pump up my calories intake. ICE-CREAM!!! A luxury food for me at this point. Told me to buy specific brand and there are only 15g of carb in 1 cup (ice-cream is full of fat and it won't affect blood sugar very much). She looked at my chart and she said that I'm doing very well and I can increase my carb intake during snacks, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, I should limit carb as blood sugar tend to rise very quickly in the morning even with the same amount of carb I eat for lunch or dinner. She just didn't want me to loose weight anymore and it is not right to starve my babies. With 2 in my womb, she wasn't worried that they will be very big (in the case of GD mothers who did not control their blood sugar well). So, after my appointment with her, I drove to Harris Teeter to stock up my food and of course, bought 2 cartons of Breyer's ice-cream..... natural vanilla and butter pecans. I will try it tonight and see how's my blood sugar the next day...if it is high, then I will just let WT have it, hehe....
Oh, btw there are no ketone in my urine (which mean that I'm getting enough food). Weight increased a little compared to yesterday. Becky said that it is also possible that weighing at a different time of the day, shows different result.
