Today is the first day I moved on from cereal, oatmeal and barley to 1st food. I started with pea because it is a vegetable. Didn't want to give them fruit first as I'm afraid they may get hooked with the sweeter taste that fruits have.
The first taste of pea sent both girls wriggling and wanted to vomit...Seriously, I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for them but the way they reacted to pea is really funny...after the first spoon, I tried giving them more and the more I gave, it became so obvious that they simply don't like it...Charissa kept turning her head to the side and refuse to open her mouth and if the pea gets into her mouth, she will tried to spit out while Cailynn fusses a lot everytime I feed her (but she swallowed it anyway until she couldn't take it anymore!).
Think I will not give them pea for sometime until I can mix a variety of food for them, like mixing it a little with cereal. I will try sweet potato tomorrow and I hope they will like it better!!!
