Mommy Marvels...

I bet people will say that "Oh, you're so lucky" to become mommies of twins and don't be worry coz there are an incredible array of resources or even toys that can make the daunting task of twin mommy to be easier. Well, I'm pretty particular with the word "easier"... as it doesn't mean "easy". As for now, I'm kind of taking things "easy" while my babies are still in the oven. But, no matter how relax I am now, there are lots to plan especially WT and I are planning to shop for the babies soon. First of all, diapers!!! I'm torn between using cloth diapers and disposable diapers. Of course, it is more economical to use cloth diapers but with two babies, this will double the load of washing and drying....but with the help of mom for the first few months, that should help lessen the stress. Changing diapers are very important in the early weeks especially if I'm breastfeeding as I need to determine if the babies are getting enough nutrition by counting the dirty diapers. On the other hand, disposable diapers can help whisk away moisture from the baby's bum and minimize rash development. But, this doesn't seems to be an excuse not to change their diapers frequently....Since, mom has got 2 dozens of cloth diapers for me from Malaysia, I'm going to be committed to the practice of cloth diapers during the day!!!!and of course by doing so, hopefully it won't burn a hole in daddy's pocket!.

Next will be the pacifier!!! Babies like to suck, that for sure. I'm not too sure if I can handle two babies crying at the same time. But then, there are advantage of using pacifier coz babies don't need to eat everytime they want to suck. I figure that the best way out is to wean them off by age one and a half or earlier when their urge for sucking are no longer urgent.

The more I think, the more headache I get. More and more stuff are getting into my way such as bouncers and swings, digital ear termometer or rectal termometers, twin nursing pillow or just ordinary sleeping pillow, monitors and etc. I believe there will be a never ending even after the babies are born.
