The joy of shopping

Wow! What a bargain.....didn't feel so excited and contented with shopping before. Went to Baby R'us yesterday and got 2 cribs and 2 mattresses as well as Graco Travel system (a double stroller comes with an infant car seat- we're still waiting for Samm to pass on her infant car seat to us to make the travel system complete). We didn't expect to find a crib that is below $100 here in the States but when we were there last night, they were having clearance sale for this particular crib. We immediately fall in love with it and got two of them. Wanted a darker colour but was out of stock, so we got the natural colour instead. Then we got 2 good mattresses for the cribs and it cost about the same price. When we were sitting down at the counter doing the final payment, we were told that we will get 10% off of the three items we bought because we're expecting twins. Then, they offered another 10% discount on top of that if WT applied for their Chase Baby R'us credit card. So, with the card we can use it in future to purchase things in Baby R'us or Toy R'us with 10% discount. So all in all, we saved $130 from the total purchase and about $300 from what we budgeted. So, you can see how happy we were after getting out from the store. Managed to bring back the travel system and a mattress with our old car and will go back again today to get the cribs and another mattress.....save a lot from not getting delivery service from them as they charge per item.
