You did it Baby!!! That is what was written on her Doc Band Graduate certificate (will scan the cert when I have the time, just wanna get this post out first). Had her measurements and pictures taken at the Cranial Tech today and we were supposed to let her do a final casting. When her head was being measured, she got irritated and started crying. Exit photos session was also difficult because she was too aware of what was happening. While waiting for Lisa at the consultation room, I kept asking myself if I should even let her do the casting (like what she did for her first casting). I know for sure she will be crying and screaming and we will need an army to keep her down. I felt for her and decided to talk to Lisa again. When Lisa came in, she asked me the same question that I've been asking myself while waiting for her. When she saw me being so reluctant to answer her, she told me a very good news. They have just completed the installation (15 minutes before she came in to see me) of digital imaging system (Cranial Tech Charlotte is one of the last branch to install). This will mean that Charissa will not need to go through the traditional casting. It was an imaging system that can capture a 3D image and I saw 5 cameras surrounding her during the session. The process took 2 minutes to complete. The image will be sent to the HQ in Arizona and I believe they will be using the image to create a cast. And something to be proud, Charissa is the first baby using the system in Cranial Tech Charlotte!!!
Oh well, I'm so glad that all is over :)
