Cailynn's voice became hoarse a few nights ago and again as a new mommy, I'm afraid that she might be sick. No fever, which I'm glad and there is no problem with her feeding and sleeping except that occasionally she is a bit fussy and tried to cough real hard as though something is in her throat.
Called the Triage nurse this morning and asked her if I need to bring Cailynn in for a check-up and she said that if that makes me feel better, then I should. So, I brought her in for the 1:50pm appointment. The nurse took her weight first and to my surprised she is already 15lbs 10.5oz!!! what an increase since a month ago......well, the Pediatrician took a look at her throat and she said that she has a mild throat viral infection due to cold weather. Told me to use a humidifier at night while she sleeps (which I don't have it!!!should have included that in my baby registry). No medication for her coz her condition is not so severe that she needed one. Just have to monitor her for the next couple of days and hopefully it will subside on its own.
Other than that, she is doing fine!
