First road trip

Daddy decided last minute to bring the girls for their first road trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It was a 4 hours drive each way from Charlotte and I was so glad that the girls survived the trip. In fact, they were so happy and excited when we arrived at the Westin Resort & Spa (oh ya, Daddy chose Westin because of the heated pool for the girls to swim and also the Heavenly Spa for Mommy to get a body massage!). Okay, back to when we first arrived, the girls were sitted on their stroller and they were sitting upright looking at the surrounding and people!!!!They don't usually do that when we go out for grocery shopping. They really seems to know that they are on holidays!

When we got to our room, the girls were looking around again and when we put them on the bed, they just lie down enjoying the Heavenly bed (especially Charissa). The remaining of the day, we went to the heated pool to swim after I got back from the spa, and then dinner at the Crazy Crab. The girls were quite tired after a long drive and Cailynn just went to sleep after we went back to the room. Charissa on the other hand can't fall asleep because she was too alert of the surrounding...but finally, fell asleep around 10:30pm!

The next morning, we had our breaskfast at the Carolina Cafe...and after that, we walked around the hotel (swimming pools and the beach) before we went back to the hotel to pack. After checking out, we went to the Harbour town. Spent few hours there. We stopped by Lawton Stables to see horses before we left the town. Oh yes, we also went to an outlet and I bought 2 dresses for the girls!!! Had dinner at Ruby Tuesday and then another 2 hours drive back to Charlotte.

Daddy is now looking forward to bring them to more road trips...still not very prepare to bring them on the plane yet.. (too many things to bring for 2 babies!!!). Below are some pics taken during the trip.
